This house is available for family rentals only.  We will not rent to groups of young professionals, looking for a "work retreat". 
Our house is a family home in a family neighborhood - no parties allowed!

Beautiful Lake Front house on Lake Travis, in Point Venture.  House is located in the same cove as the community boat launch.  Click HERE for more information about Point Venture's amenities (Olympic sized swimming pool, exercise room, six tennis courts, exercise room and lending library, 9-hole golf course, floating restaurant, boat launches, marina, 50 acre park with 2 cement boat launches and a tot lot, and of course - lake swimming).

This is a newly built house as of April 2007 and is fully furnished with the kitchen stocked with dishes and cookware and a propane barbecue out on the deck.  Your $500 deposit reserves the house, with the balance due prior to your visit.

This is a 3500 sq.ft., 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house, with a media / game room, 3-car garage, separate formal living and dining rooms.  GORGEOUS LAKE AND SUNSET VIEWS FROM 3 BEDROOMS, KITCHEN, FAMILY ROOM, AND SPACIOUS DECK.  House sleeps 11 in beds, plus the sofa bed: Master has king bed + a day bed, Bedroom 2 has a king bed, Bedroom 3 has a queen bed, Bedroom 4 has a queen bed + a twin bunk bed, and the Game room has a pull-out sofa bed.

REGULAR RATES

$600 a night with a 3-night minimum during Holidays and Summer (2-night minimum during off season).  There is a $75 cleaning fee, and a 6% state hotel tax on vacation rentals.  Sorry, no primary renters under 30 years of age.

YEAR ROUND SPECIALS

Pay for 4 nights, get the 5th night free. 
Pay for 5 nights, get the 6th and 7ths nights free (however, you can't lap over onto two weekends).

OFF SEASON SPECIALS

Prior to Memorial Day, 2008, and excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Years and Presidents Day weekend, rates are $500 a night (2-night minimum).

Small, well-behaved critters are welcome, however you will be held responsible for your dog pissing on the carpet or chewing things.  If your dog needs to learn some manners, please leave him or her at home. 

This is our personal residence that we built for our retirement.  It's in a year-round family neighborhood with fulltime residents on both sides, so if you're looking for a PARTY HOUSE, please look elsewhere!  Absolutely NO INDOOR SMOKING, and if you smoke outside, you'd better not throw your cigarette butts on the ground.  Also, all your cars and toys MUST fit in the 3 garages and circular driveway, as there is no street side parking available (and cars will get towed).

This is the view from our deck.  The house is rotated, so this photo overlooks the neighbors lot, but there's a path down to our shoreline.  We don't have a dock on our property, but the community park with the boat launch you can see in the photo is located one house to the South.

Kitchen is spacious and fully stocked.  Has nifty Silestone "Stellar Night" counters

2nd bedroom (this is our favorite) has a king bed and private bathroom - overlooks the water

3rd bedroom has a queen bed - overlooks the water - bathroom is in media room

4th bedroom has queen and bunk bed - no view  (put the kids in here).  No cable TV in this room, but the TV has a built-in DVD and VCR player - full bathroom with shower is in hallway

laundry room is stocked with towels, shampoo & toilet paper.  Please help yourself (it makes more sense for us to leave all the towels in there, and you can grab what you need).

  Media room has a leather queen sleeper sofa and a 6' pool table, plus there's a rack with a bunch of DVD's for you to enjoy and some books.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

To make a $500 non-refundable deposit to hold your reservation, you can mail a check to me (and I'll hold your reservation, once you've told me it's in the mail), or I'll charge your VISA or MasterCard when you fax or e-mail me our rental agreement.
